I love school holidays

Wow I feel relaxed. School holiday's are here. No dragging my backside out of bed to get children to school, kinda or any where else. And I have been spending heaps of time reading and being creative.

So here is what I have been doing. Last week over at Leonie's I decided to case one of Leonie's scrapbook page. Click here for Leonie's version.

But here is my masterpiece. This is of my 6 year old son Cameron who has just completed his first year of school. I love this photo with his big grown up jacket and tie. I can't beleive that he is no longer a preppie boy. How sad that they grow so fast.
Talking about growing up to fast. My next page I decided to do one of my big 16 year old boy James. I thought I better go and hunt out those prep school photo's and make him a special page. It so brings back memories. Of his first day at school, so excited to go. Now I have to yell and scream to wake him up in the morning. Oh well I will always have those memories. I am really happy with this page as it's a Philippa original. And I used my brand new alphabet stamp set I got just last week on sale. How cool was that?

Also I must say I'm in love with my cuttle bug at the moment. I am using it heaps.

12 Days of Christmas at The Greeting Farm

I haven't done a challenge for ages. So when I saw what the lovely Kristy had done I thought why not. Instead of getting my house ready for christmas day I made a card.

It is a sketch challenge over at The Greeting Farm.

I must say this card just went together without a hitch. I love that. Also I love being able to use the in colours, as I'm not a big fan of them. Sorry about the bad lighting. It is so dark here today.

Snow Globe 2

Lot's of stampin done today. Went to Leonie's last night with fellow stamper Leanne and had a lovely night. Made some cards, and a page. But here is another snow globe with a difference. I used the snow swirled stamp set with night of navy CS and silver paper and embossing. Am so excited, but forgot to put a sentiment on this one also. Never mind will add that later.

Snow Globe

Wow. Was so excited when I popped over to Debbie's blog and saw this fantastic snow globe idea using the Sweet Treats. To be honest I was thinking that they where going to be another thing I brought but never used. But to my surpise I have.

Check out Debbie's cool card here. But for the fantastic tutorial it's here at Stampin with Roxy. I must say I have finished all of my christmas cards, but just had to give this one a go. I love it.

I don't have the holiday line up but was very excited when I found I had stamped some off from Leonie a while back. Thaks lovey. So everything was just falling in to place and after a lovely visit to the Flemington market this morning I came home and made this. I haven't put a sentiment on it, but was thinking you could guess it's for Christmas. Lol.

I was so impressed with my bow as well. Not really a bow girl. Anyway stay tuned as I have a great idea for another card. Let's hope I have the time to do it.

Thanks to all for sharing your idea's and supporting us all in blog land.
Merry Christmas

Christmas Presents

I made this little box for my daughters little kinda teacher Leesa. Leesa has been careing for both Cameron and Tara for the last 5 years and she is fantastic with them. It is such a sad time to say good bye as we all move on with our lives. But we are on a promise to catch up for some crafting time. Leesa is a Stampin Up crafter, but as yet to join. So I knew that she would appreciate some Stampin Up goodies for christmas.

The box is called a fantasy box and I got the idea from one that Leonie made a while back for Sarah. Any way here is my version. So sorry about the photo's. I so think my camera needs to go to heaven, but it will have to hold on a little bit longer. As you can see I placed some little goodies in their for some crafting, but you can put little chocolates or lollies.

So thank you Leesa for all your love and support that you have shown Tara, Cameron and me and look forward to some crafting time over the holiday's. Merry Christmas

Winter Post

So I have done a few things for Christmas, but I can't show them until I give them to the away. As I'm worried someone will look at my blog.

Anyway I made this card for Leonie for christmas. I wanted to make something special as I know she appreiciates a good card. So I stole (borrowed) her Winter Post set and had a look on SCS for some idea's. To be honest I had a whole other card in mind but as soon as I saw this one I knew it was it.

I cased this card from Teneale Williams. Such a clever card.

I used whisper white, bordering blue and night of navy. Not sure is you can see but this is a shaker card. But a very special one as it's my first. So am very proud of myself. But wait there is more. The background is brayered. I am not a very good brayerer, but I think I didn't do to bad.

Due to the acetate, it was very hard to take a photo, but I hope you can see that I have stamped a couple of tree's and the dear on the brayered card and on the acetate I stamped another tree and the greeting.

Christmas and all that.

I know I have to be the worst blog person ever. Things have just been so hectic. I know it's the same for everyone, so I'm not complaining, but I think I am all christmased out. Lol.

I haven't been able to make hardly anything. So thank god I did most of my chrissy cards back is Sept. Any way I thought I would put up what I have been doing, and that is going to the Fairfield Boat House for my husbands Chrissy Party. What a great day. Food, wine and boat rides. Even Santa came with a very generous present for the kid's. (And my husband hasn't even started working there yet). Cameron unfortunatly didn't want his photo taken, so this is the best one I got. Cheeky boy. But the kid's loved it. Will have to go back again.

Also my Tupperware business is just growing and growing. There was a very special Record Breaker Week just recently and I had to try and sell $3151 of Tupperware in one week. I was so thinking that I wasn't going to do it. But SURPRISE, SURPRISE I sold $5,061. Yeah me. It was a lot of hard work, especially when it also coincided with my two boys birthday parties.

But that meant that I won all the Special limited addition Tupperware and prizes the company had to offer. And one of those prizes was a lovelinks (like Pandora) bracelet with 3 charms. I recieved one charm last night and have to order the other ones. Also this meant that I have paid for my family to go away at Christmas Time on a holiday. So am very excited that I am providing for my family. So if your interested in holding a Tupperware party or think that you would like to earn lot's of free Tupperware let me know.

Just in case I don't have time to get back on blog land Merry Christmas to all.
