Magnolia and Haunted House Design Challenge

Wow. Two challenges in one. I am so loving all the halloween card's at the moment. Check out Haunted Design House and Magnolia Down Under for this weeks challenge details.

Any one who knows me, knows I love anything supernatural. But in Australia we don't get many halloween stamps. And to be honest there isn't much use for them over here in Oz. But I had this little tilda stamped off from Kellie(thanks lovey) and Leonie brought me this little cute clear stamp set which has a witch, cobwebs and spiders(thanks Leo). But just hadn't been able to think of something to do with them.

Any way, I'm waffling. Must be catching Kellie disease.Lol. I have made a little lint choc box holder that a friend Leesa gave me the template for. Thanks Leesa. Not sure if any choc will get into it. Will most likely eat it before, but thought it was cute. Thanks for looking

Christmas Challenge All Year Round #32

Opps. I was so excited to have some time to do a challenge this week. That I didn't even realise that the challenge was over. Any way here is my card. As soon as I started this card I knew how it was going to turn out. I love when that happens and it all comes together. This is now my new favorite chrissy card. Check out Stampin All year round for their great challenges.

Another Page

This is a picture of my beautiful nephew Daniel. Mind you he is 12 years old. But I found this picture and I just love it. So last night I decided to put it on a page. He of course barracks for the doggies, so I did in the theme for him. I hope he likes it.

More Snow Swirled

It's all about christmas at the moment in my house. Here are some more card's I made with snow swirled. I cased the gold and white card on SCS, but can't seem to find it to give credit. Sorry. Then changed the colour and used riding hood red. Just a quick one as have just got back from a tupperware party and off to basketball final. Wish me luck.

(P.S. Sorry about the bad photo. Was taken at night.)

Envelope Bags.

These envelope bags where so much fun to do. Leonie did them at her last work shop, but I didn't have time to make one. I needed to make some for my tupperware party tomorrow. I put little prizes in them for the guest.

So anyway on Michelles blog I found a tutorial for them. Plus lots of other cool tutorials. You should check out her blog. She is a very clever lady.

Thanks for looking.

Snow Swirled

I just receive Snow Swirled in the mail today, and could not wait to use it. There are so many great idea's to do with this set.

So I cased some great card's from SCS. Here is the link to the first card. I thought it was very clever of them to create a wreath out of snow flakes. I must say I did it a bit different by mistake. I used the large snowflake, which I think doesn't have the same effect as the smaller one, but any way will do.
This next one again from SCS. See link here. I used black, bordering blue and whisper white C.S. Two really simple but lovely cards. I love making christmas cards. And I must say I am putting a good dint in the cards to do list. Thanks for looking.

I did a page. Yeah

So I went along to Leonie's first scrap 'n' chat night. What a great night. You could do your own stuff or Leonie had some projects there for us to make.

So as I'm not one to think for myself, I did a few cards. (Will pop them on next post). Then I looked over at a friends (Emma) page that she was creating and thought WOW that looks nice. I could do that. I didn't even have any photo's with me, but knowing that my fave colours are brown and blue I knew that I dressed my kid's in those colours.

Any way here is what I came up with. It is a little bit different from Emma's but I have to give credit to her for the idea. I am finally starting to feel like I want to do more scrapbooking. Can't wait to do my next page. I am so putting an order in this week for some 12 x 12 paper. Bad girl I am.

Will be back with more soon I'm sure.

Art and Craft

I just had to show you what my little girl Tara and I got up to this afternoon. I brought her a princess craft book the other week today we decided to make these special little dolls. We had a great afternoon bonding over the sticky strip. Lol

How cute are these little guys. My clever and independant little Tara did most of the work. (Check out the Prince's eyebrows) Lol.

What a lovely afternoon we had. Still got no housework done though. Oh well there is always next week. He He
Thanks for looking. xxoo

My First Anya

I was so lucky to stamp off some of these cute Anya stamps at stamp camp. Thanks Debbie. But didn't want to use them as I only did a few. But I felt inspired over the weekend and this is what I came up with. It was so much fun, and a Philippa original I must say. Yeah. It's been a while since I made a card I didn't case so it is a great achievement.

Thanks for looking

Two post's in one day. Miricle

It has been very busy for me. My new Tupperware business is going off with a bang and I have no time to stamp. But this week is a quieter week so hopefully I might be able to get some things done. But here is some note pad's and boxes I made for two ladies that are helping me out with my Tupperware. Mel and my new manager Marisra have been very helpful so when I went to my first meeting a couple of weeks ago I made these little treats for them to say thanks. I got the idea off Yvonne last year when she gave us a little present at the regionals. And the die cut boxes I did at stamp camp using Debbie's embossing folders.

Thanks to the lovely Yvonne and Debbie for their great idea's and sharing. I must say that the ladies I have met through Stampin Up are fantastic. Everyone is always willing to share their idea's and to help one another out. I know I love looking at everyone's blogs and seeing what they have created.

So just wanted to say thanks to all for sharing your idea's and I hope you have a lovely day.

Happy stampin
Philippa

Been a while

I must say it has been a while since I have made a card. But last week Leonie popped in for a visit and we found a card from a magazine we thought we would make. Both of them turned out very different. Check out her blog here for her version. I used the season of joy set with the holiday treause D.S.P. With co-ordinating rudy red, choc chip and old olive C.S. I stuck my D.S.P onto some sticky paper(not sure the official name) and then embossed the rest. One more christmas card down. Thanks for looking.
