Special treats for my mum

My beautiful mum turns 60 tomorrow so we are going out today to celebrate her birthday. So last night I thought I better make a card. I used the Nature walk set which is slowly becoming one of my favourite sets. This card is called a centre step card. I got the tutorial from here. I got the cute little bag template from the template section of SCS.

Sketch Saturday & Mad for Markers Colour Challenge

Wow it's rare for me to do two challenges in one week let alone 2 challenges in one card. So this is very exciting. Over at Mad for Markers they have a colour brown hair challenge and a Sketch over at Sketch Saturday. So I grabbed this little cutey I brought from Kenny K images and off I went. Also the D.S.P is from Tickled Pink. I hope that's all the plugs.lol Any way I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoy making.

Buttons, Buttons, Buttons

I borrowed this cute set off Susan (thank you) and am having lot's of fun with it. Here are a couple of cards I have made with Sew Suite set. I'm not use to the bold bright colours but I did have lot's of fun with the buttons.
This second one was all about embossing. There are 3 different embossing techniques used on this card. I love my big shot.

Sweet Sketch 015-44

Trying to finish a card when watching Grey's Anatomy is hard tonight as I can't stop crying because my fave caracter Kellie might die. I know it's pathetic but I hate when they kill off all the good people. Any way I have finished my card for the sweet sketch challenge. I had this cute little image coloured up a while back so it's good to see it on a card.
