Copy Cat from Ballarat.

I know that it's a funny heading, but I will explain. I have been looking for a card to make with the good neighbours set. I am struggling to use it. Also trying to find a use for my large grommets which I just had to have.

Any way so over at the very clever Marelle's she has made this card for her blog hop using all Sellabration sets. Instanly I fell in love with this card and just had to make it.

Normally when I case a card I try to make it my own by changing a few things, but this card was so cute I didn't want to change it at all (Actually I changed the background stamp and added a brad). But basically all credit needs to go to Marelle. I love how when we are challenge all you need to do is blog hop around and you find inspiration. Also happy to say the sentiment is from last years Sellabration.

So thanks to all that share card's and ideas and visit my blog and make comments. It really brighten's my day.

Thanks Philippa

Colour Q challenge #21

There is a very cool challenge over at Colour Q. I must say it was very challenging to make a card with these colours. I don't think I have used Apricot Appeat for over a year. Any way it took a while but finally I have a card. Set's I used where crazy for cupcakes and pun fun. Also the circle sissors came out again and a build a brad. Not sure if you can see but I stamped off a cupcake from the crazy for cupcakes set. Thanks for looking.

A Man Card - Sweet Sunday Sketch #57

Over at The Sweetest Thing they have a sketch going on. Don't ask me how but this card came into my head. I find it hard to make male card's so I thought I would give this a go. I must say it's not the best card I have done but good enough for a man (how awful does that sound).

Mind you I used some of my fave colours Choc Chip, Sage Shadow and So Saffron. I love these colours. Stamp Sets are Pun Fun and Vintage Labels. And I can't forget about my cool circles I made using the Circle Sissors Plus.

Thanks for looking.

Magnolia Challenge #33

I have had this card sitting at my desk for most of the week. I knew exactly what I was going to do, just didn't have the time to do it. But due to me knee injury I didn't work today, which ment lot's of time to stamp. So here is my Magnolia Challenge #33 entry. I can't wait to give this one away. Most of the girl's I know are into dancing so it is just perfect.

Please excuse my photo. I can't afford a new camera, as all my money is going to be spent on the new mini and convention.

Lovely Leanne's Birthday

My girlfriend Leanne is having a birthday so I made this card awhile ago. But decided as part of her present I would make one of these cool boxes to go with it. These boxes are everywhere at the moment, but I can't quite remember where exactly they originated from. If I remember i will post that later. But they are so easy to do and fun to decorate.

Talking about decorate I just had to say one of the reason's I love SU is that everything matches. The paper, matches the ribbon which matches the D.S.P which matches the buttons. It is so cool knowing you can find something in just the right colour.

My first easel card

My sister has some 40th birthday's coming up and she asked me if I can make some special card's. Her girlfriend loves burgandy, so what better colour to use then Bravo Burgandy. I teamed it up with some Pink Pirouette which I think looks nice. But the list of stamp set's was very long. They were
  • Inspired by Nature
  • Great Friends
  • Live your dream
  • Sincere salutations
  • Stem Silouettes (retired but a great set)

You can find instructions for the easel card here.

Also on a romantic note. I am not a beleiver in Valentines Day. I really do think it is a money making scheme. But of course I was so excited when my husband came home and had brought me some roses. So I just had to show them off. I don't get roses much, so it was nice and special.

Have a good night everyone.

Curtain Call: Act 15 and Anyone for Anya Sketch Challenge

I so love these challenges where I can do more then one. I have had this little Anya coloured in for a few day's, but not enough time to make a card. So tonight I have found some time and finished her off.

The first challenge is the Curtain Call Colour challenge. These are defiently colours that I would never put together. Which is why they call it a challenge. I went with a flower theme to go with the garden green. The other challenge was the Anyone for Anya Challenge. I must say I have a few Anya's myself, but once again I used one that I stamped off at Stamp Camp. Thanks again Debbie. I have to admit that this card took me forever to put together. But at least it is finished.
Sorry I need to apologies again for the blurry photo. It's 11.30pm and not alot of natural light. Thanks for looking

Anyone for Anya Sketch Challenge #6

I have had this little girl stamped off since our Stamp Camp last Aug, thanks to the lovely Debbie. I only had the one so I didn't want to use it just in case I mucked it up some how. But for some reason I went straight to it when I saw this challenge. This card was made for the Anyone for Anya Sketch Challenge #6. I must say that this is totally out of my colour zone. It was the first time the summer sun marker was used.

I have used Summer Sun, Real Red and Basic Black with white. I did a little fan and some little origami paper folding in the corner. I used an old hostess stamp So Many Sayings for my WISH. Thanks for looking.
