Christmas Pages

I thought I would pop up some christmas pages that I have been making with my simple scrapping christmas set from the main catalogue. I never thought that I would ever put brown on a christmas project, but it seems to be everywhere here. I think brown just goes with everything. Especially in my house anyway. Sorry if you can't see properly. It got a bit stuck when I tried to take in out of the albumn so I thought I would leave them in.
Thanks for looking.

In the night garden

I made this card for my nieces 2nd birthday. I would love to say that I came up with the idea, but Leonie did. In our circle of friend's, Leonie is what we call our Punch Queen. She has a knack for making things with punches (plus other magical things) So thanks to Leonie and here is what I came up with. I think this is the character Upsey Daisy.

Cooking Queen

I must say for someone that doesn't work much (out of the home that is) I am so busy. And I find it hard to find just one day that I am home resting. So it was a great day today as I was home with my cheeky little 4 year old Tara and we decided to make some scones for my parents who are coming over for afternoon tea. I just couldn't resist taking some photo's. How cute does she look. Tara loves cooking.

I must say it looks like an advert for Tupperware. All that great kid's kitchen range. At least I know where all my tupperware money went. On more tupperware.
Have a good day all

More Card's. Yeah

Just wanted to pop up some more random card's that I made. I love this Greeting Earthling one. The embossing folders came in handy with this. Lot's of textured planets and I used crystal effects on the aliens to give it that slimy look.

This next card took a bit longer to do. It had that fantastic brayered effect. Using Dream Garden, Eastern Blooms and Live your dream for the little butterflies. I embossed everything in black which made it alot easier to brayer over the rest of the card. Except for the sun. I punched out a circle to mask the sun. I used more mustard card stock with, more mustard, really rust and pumpin pie ink.

Random Card's

I have been out of action the last few weeks due to the computer not letting me upload photo's. But I have worked out that I can do it on someone else's account. Don't ask me how but at least I'm back on.

So here is some things that I have been doing lately. A special card for my brother in law Peter. He is a bit of a handly man, so this card was perfect for him.

I stamped the image onto silver c.s and then I used the faux woodgrain technique for the handles of the hammer and saw. I quite like this idea. I got the instructions for this from Marelle's blog. Also there is alway's great inspiration on SCS

This second card was done with the new Pony Party set. I got this set as a clear mount as I thought it would be easier to stamp the little stamps on. Great idea, but I'm constantly worried I'm going to lose one of the little stamps.

Anyway I have been clever enough to use some of the retiring paper Apricot Apeal with one of the new colours Tangerine Tango. The flower brad is Pumpkin Pie, but you can't really tell the difference. I glittered the wings and put crystel effects on the ponies mane and tail. I must say I love the Magical birthday wishes sentiment. This will be used quite a lot with my girly cards I think.

I have really enjoyed putting up this post. I don't think I realised how much I missed blog land til I was back.

Take care and blog you later

My first BLOG HOP with the ESAD. Yeah!!

Good Morning everyone!

I hope you’re ready for the ESAD Blog Hop! Better go grab yourself a cuppa as you’ll be hopping for a while! I am very excited as this is my very first blog hop and can't wait to see what everyone has created.

What is ESAD you say?

ESAD stands for Extra Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Should you have any questions at all please ask on the group or email Sharlene Torres (stampwithsharlene@hotmail.com) or Leonie Schroder (leonie@stamp-a-latte.com) .

Now, on to the hop! You may have arrived here from Nikki Stalkers amazing blog but no matter where you started you will be able to hop around the full circuit by following the links on each post. If you leave a comment on each post in the hop, email Sharlene to let her know and you'll be in the draw to win some Blog Candy! There will be one winner from Australia and one from New Zealand. (Demonstrators are encouraged to comment but will not be eligible to win the Blog Candy).

So here is my first card that I have made with the Medallian Stamp Set. I also used the En Francais Stamp Set. Inks, C.S and Ribbons are Rich Razzleberry, Choc Chip, Kraft and Vanilla. I stamped the Medallian Stamp set over the En Francais and sponged the edges with Choc Chip.

This next card also uses the Vintage Vogue stamp set. Colours are Always Artichoke and Melon Mambo. I punched out some circles for that layering effect and finished off with an Always Artichoke brad.

The third card I feel is very simple. I used the Urban Oasis D.S.P and embossed the Medallian stamp in Black. Colours are basic gray, basic black and kraft. Finished off with a cordory button.

I can't take credit for this next card, but I did make it at a workshop at the amazing Leonie's. The card stock is stamped with the Upsy Daisy Stamp set. Then clear embossed over the top. Then using Rich Razzleberry you brayer on the top of card. For the background I used versa mark to give it that effect.

This last card is from a previous post. I used it for a colour challenge, but due to the fact that I also used the medallian stamp I thought I would put it up again. This card is pretty basic. With the butterflies I stamped them first with So Saffron and then with Tempting Turquose.

So thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you are having fun checking out all these fantastic blogs. But off you go now to see the very talented Rachel Jackson.

Happy Stampin
Philippa

Another New Blog Friend

I met Kylie last year as both of our children went to the same kinda. But it was only late in the year that we both realised we were SU demo's. We even have the same upline. How weird is that? Our children now go to the same 4 year old kinda and it's chat, chat, chat each day talking about SU. The new products, the new colours and especially convention.

Kylie's been doing SU for a couple of years and is a very creative person. She does some brilliant work. So pop on over and check out some of the things that she has been creating.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #63 & Curtain Call Challenge # 24

I love a good sketch challenge. It really help's you when creating. So what better then a colour challenge to add. Doesn't leave much thinking does it. So here is my card for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and the Curtain Call Colour Challenge.

This card is quite simple, but the one thing I really like what I have done is the butterflies. I stamped them first in So Saffron and then over the top with Tempting Turquiose. I think they turned out very nice. I must say the butterfly punch is my fave at the moment.

Take 2 Vintage Vogue

Here is my 2nd card with the vintage vogue set. Colours are really rust, choc chip and old olive. I have teamed it up with the En Francias stamp set of Leonie's, which I must say I had to force myself to give it back. I'm sure she will let me steal/borrow it again. Pleeassse.I love this stamp set, but it is a bugger to cut out all those flowers.

Anyway thanks for looking and I hope you all have a safe and happy easter.
