Vintage Vogue

***Need to add thanks to Leonie as I now have a photo that is up right. Thanks lovey***

Vintage Vogue is fast becoming one of my favorite sets. So here is my first official card using the Vintage Vogue.

I have no idea why but this card will not rotate. I can rotate it in my pictures, but when I upload it revert's back to the other way. So I am sorry but have no idea what to do. Maybe get my I.T husband to have a look.

Any way back to the card. I was over at Amanda's blog the other day and she was using one of the old in colours and I thought why not get them back out. So here I have used river rock and groovy guava. I love these colours. I teamed it with some choc chip and I am happy with the result.

Magnolia Challenge #38

The challenge this week at MDUC is a sketch challenge. It's been a while since I have done a Magnolia challenge so off I went. I must say that I'm into simple card's at the moment. So that is what I have done. Also I'm quite impressed that I have used my S.S card stock and inks. I am normally a Earth Elements kind of girl. I loved using my buttons too. I have a lot of buttons and brads and love getting the opportunity to use heaps. So great challenge girls.

A new blog friend

I have met some lovely ladies since joining up and one of them has been saying over and over again that she will start a blog. And finally she has.

I met Amanda over a year ago thru SU and even though we only catch up every few months or so it's so nice when we do. Amanda is a lovely lady and I can't wait to see all the clever things she will make.

So pop on over to her blog and have a look at what she has been up to.

Princess Tara

I brought this princess crown kit at a market last year. And it's taken me this long to finish it. It was a really time consuming job glueing on all the paper and filling back the edges.

So on Sunday morning when I had finished all that boring stuff I started to decorate. And I didn't stop til it was finished around 3.30pm. No house work was done and lucky for my children their dad was home. I didn't even have a shower til 2pm and that was only because my sister was coming around to pick up Tara.

Any way I am very proud of my first big off the page project. And Tara loves it which is all that matters. So on to the next one. Which is a christmas item, so I have a few months to do that one.

P.S Not that I'm showing off but I just had to say that I am nearly finished with my convention swaps. I decided that I was not going to be running around at the last minute as always trying to get them done. So hopefully I wont change my mind and end up making something else at the last min. Lol

Friends 24-7

I saw this card on SCS. Click here for the original made by the very clever Heather . I just love this card and this set. I borrowed it from the lovely Leonie and couldn't wait to get creative. This card took forever to make. I'm not sure if it was all the distressing or the fact that I made it at Leonie's on the adverts while watching Survivor.

But I am really happy with the card. This is something I don't normally do. Also used Bella Blue D.S.P which is weird for me too.

Well it's been an exciting week. I have booked my ticket for Convention. And have already started on two of my swaps. So can't wait to go and meet all you lovely blog ladies and to catch up with the ones I know. Yeah Sydney.

Thanks for looking

Colour Q and Sweet Sketches Challenge

I haven't used this set in ages. So was so happy when it came to me for this challenge. The challenges are Colour Qand The Sweet Sunday Sketch. But as I'm an entering this post, I have realised that the sweet sunday sketch is over. Opps. Never mind.

Any way I used the Fifth Ave Florals stamp set. With Urban Oasis paper. I love this colour combo.
