Princess Bag

My very talented girl friend's(Leonie) daughter turned 5 today, and yesterday I realised I haven't made a card yet. So I borrowed the Pretty princess stamp set(thanks Leonie) and set off to work. I found this beautiful bag on SCS. Unfortunatly there was no template, so I had to make my own. So hours later, and lots of paper later I finally got the template right. Sort of anyway. Ive never been that good at measurments.

So what I used is pretty in pink paper, ink and some whisper white ribbon. I stamped on the front of the bag and on the inside I used black stazon ink. I coloured in with my pencils and blender pen. But I used my new versa mark pen(a nice chrissy present from Leonie) to make the wand and crown silver. Then I embossed a happy birthday on the front and punched it out with my circle and scollop punch.

So I was so excited when giving Logan her birthday card. And Leonie was saying to her have a look at your card Logan. Do you like your card Logan. And Logan said. "I have seen it already". Then walked away. So as usual if you don't make cards, you just don't appreiciate them. At least Leonie thought it was great. We are thinking of incorporating it in a work shop. I hope you like it.

Colour Challenge #33

Ok so I have 45min to have a shower, get dressed, get the kid's ready and go to dancing. But of course I am sitting here with my cards.

My lovely card made with all these great colours. I used the eastern blooms stamp set. Quite simple really. But what made the card great is the lovely pen drawings by my daughter Tara and her cheeky friend Matilda(follow blogger Leonies daughter). I found them in the study and not sure whom is to blame but it doesn't matter.

Next week I am holding a work shop for my children and their little friends. They will be making candles and cards and christmas food. I can't wait to see all their creations.
