Wendy and Shane move house.

First off I want to thank Leonie for bringing me her Sweet on You Stamp set so I could make a card for my friends Wendy and Shane who moved into there new house last weekend. I cased this card off SCS.

I used wild wasabi, river rock and pumpkin pie card stock with apple cider designer paper.(love this paper). Coloured in with my pencils and punched out some scallops with one of my big brown brads. This card was so simple to make and I really enjoyed making it. I think I will make another tomorrow, as I have already given the card to my friends. Thanks for looking.

My favourite colours

As you can see I am having way too much fun today making cards with my Looks like spring set. The card on the left I cased from SCS, but changed quite a lot, so I am calling it an original. The other card is 100% my design. Yeah me.

So I used my two favourite colours Blue Bayou and choc chip CS and ink. I found these beautiful big brown brads in a craft shop in Bright over the weekend and I think they look great. The card on the left I sponge over the whole card to give it a different effect.

Purple Power

This card was really simple to make. My good friend and up and coming super stampin up consultant Leonie showed me a new idea with clear embossing.

I used fabulous flowers stamp set with Elegant eggplant and whisper white ink and CS. First I stamp the flowers with versa mark and the embossed them with clear embossing powder. (More things I need for the wish list). Then I cut out the flowers popped them on with some dimensional. I added some elegant eggplant ribbon and finished with some misc white pearls purple brads. I love the bold colours and contrast. Did not take long to do but worth it I think.

Spring is in the air.

I just love my new Looks like Spring set. But I haven't had time to use it until now. I was supposed to be doing housework. Oh well. Can do that later.

I did a work shop a few months back with Kelly and Leanne (my good friend and now upline). We did this card and I loved it. And as usually I gave it away to another friend when she needed some cheering up.

So I change the colours a bit and and the style, but it's pretty much the same. I used Looks like Spring stamp set. White, cameo coral and taken with teal CS. Taken with teal and cameo coral ink. I punched out the smaller flowers using the Stampin Up Spring flower Bouquet. And added a misc brad from my collection. I love these colours together. What do you think?

Our holiday to Bright

I know. I know. I open a blog, put one picture on it and forget about it. But was so busy planning my weekend away with the family I didn't have time to blog. Any way we are back and I thought I would share some of my fav pictures with you. And I promise to add a couple of card's aswell.

My first blog. Yeah!!

Well this is my very first card that I am showcasing. I hope you like it. I cased this card from SCS. This is a very simple but effective card. I used stem silhouettes stamp set (retired). With river rock and whisper white ink and CS. I stamped the background trees using versa mark and then on top I used whisper white ink. It gives it that great shadow effect. I then popped a bit of river rock double stitch ribbon. I love it. What do you think?
